This is the fourth investment for REdimension's Real Estate Technology and Sustainability Fund, supported by partners like Burstone Real Estate, Growthpoint Properties, and Liberty Group.
Founded in 2018, The Good People Data Company is a registered credit bureau offering cutting-edge solutions for customer, employee, and supplier onboarding while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. The company has built a strong reputation in South Africa, working with major brands and partnering with the Southern African Fraud Prevention Services to combat fraud, money laundering, and identity theft.
CEO JK du Toit highlighted that the investment will help the company expand into new markets and accelerate growth in verification, compliance, and workflow automation. As digital services grow across Africa, there is rising demand for reliable screening solutions, especially given the 356% increase in digital impersonation fraud attempts over the past year.
The company’s platforms include biometric verification, anti-money laundering (AML) screening, and real-time compliance checks, reducing costs and improving accuracy.
