Spear REIT Limited (JSE: SEA), the Western Cape’s only regionally focused Real Estate Investment Trust, has acquired Consani Industrial Park for R437.3 million, a landmark transaction in line with its focused growth strategy.
The property spans 10.64 hectares with a gross lettable area (GLA) of 80,657 m², and is multi-tenanted by a diverse mix of industrial users. Strategically located in Elsie's River Industria, a key logistics and industrial node, the park offers close access to major transport routes, energy infrastructure, and regional supply chains.
This acquisition strengthens Spear’s industrial portfolio and deepens its presence in Cape Town’s established growth corridors.

Funding and Forward Focus
The acquisition is funded through a mix of available cash reserves and debt facilities, supported by Spear’s successful June 2025 private placement. A R34 million capital upgrade programme is planned over the next five years, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and long-term value.
Spear's pipeline includes the anticipated addition of Berg River Business Park in Paarl, positioning the REIT for sustained growth across the Western Cape.
