Happy Friday, Property Peeps!

Spring officially begins in just one month on 22 September. After a cold and

rainy winter in the Cape, this sunny season promises a welcome shift. As we

transition from spring to summer, expect a surge of positivity, optimism, and

new opportunities.

The property market has faced challenges due to high interest rates, but

there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Economists and property experts are

predicting a significant interest rate cut in September, with a potential follow

up in November. Inflation is under control, and some forecasts suggest a 0.50%

basis point reduction. The UK has recently lowered its rates to 5% from 5.25%,

and the US Federal Reserve is also expected to implement notable cuts next

month.
